Letter, 1814 Sept. 12, Washington City, to "Dear Sir" / Seth Pease.

Holograph signed. Pease was a government surveyor and astronomer. Following the capture of Washington by the British, Aug. 24, 1814, he predicts the removal of the seat of government from Washington.
